Between February-March 2022 the MELBU project partners from Germany, Poland and Bangladesh organized the international school for students on entrepreneurship, innovation and leadership topics.
Due to Covid travel restrictions, the school took place online but was a success. Bengali and European students worked together, supported by European and Bengali professors, on their business/entrepreneurship projects in teams and spent a lot of time learning more about techniques and methods on how to incubate and validate business ideas, including amon others training on business model development, customer validation, market analysis, and elevator pitch.
On the final day, they presented the outcome of their work in front of judges, got feedback to their projects and participation certificates. The school allowed the students to learn more about how to become an entrepreneur. At the same time, Bengali professors based on shadow-learning were able to learn more about entrepreneurship teaching methods thanks to cooperation with European professors.
The school was co-funded by the Erasmus+ Programme of the European Union within the project “More Entrepreneurial Life at Bengali Universities”.
